Health Plan Contracts

PHP’s Contracting Department reviews and negotiates health plan, healthcare provider, and other vendor contracts. We work closely with our Finance and Analysis Department to negotiate reimbursement rates on behalf of our clients:

• Primary Physician Partners (PPP)
• Physician Health Partners (PHP) specialists
• Colorado Pediatric Partners (CPP)
• KEY Primary Care Physicians (KEYPCP)
• South Metro Primary Care (SMPC)
• Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC)
• Division of Youth Corrections (DYC)
• Mental Health Institutes (MHI) and
• Oregon Department of Corrections (ODOC).

Healthcare Provider Contracts

PHP negotiates detailed risk contracts with our specialty providers in cardiology, hematology/oncology, orthopedics, as well as ancillary providers including, durable medical equipment, laboratory, physical therapy, and pathology. The Contracting Department pays special attention to trends in the healthcare industry and governmental priorities whenever entering into contracts with providers, specialists and support services.

Government Contracts

On behalf of our governmental clients, the Colorado Department of Corrections, the Colorado Division of Youth Corrections, and the Mental Health Institutes, the Contracting Department is building a unique network of providers, facilities, and specialists to work with these particular populations throughout the state. In addition to medical specialists, the network includes ambulatory surgical centers, hospitalist groups, and ancillary providers for DME, physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, IV therapy and respiratory therapy.
