Provider Relations
The Provider Relations Department is the central source connecting providers with all of the resources at PHP. It serves as a liaison between physicians, health plans, and leadership. Provider Relations puts into practice our commitments to our providers, namely, to communicate patient information, technology, resources and new programs in a way that is straightforward and user-friendly.
PHP member physicians strive to give their patients the most efficient and highest quality care possible. The Provider Relations Department supports these efforts by disseminating and explaining pertinent information about partner health plans and managed care systems to all concerned. Physicians can then increase the quality of the time spent caring for their patients. PHP practices also count on Provider Relations to research and solve provider concerns and to develop and distribute training information. When things don’t quite function like clockwork, the Provider Relations Department helps coordinate resources to facilitate a quick resolution.
The Provider Relations Department actively monitors provider accomplishments by implementing annual patient satisfaction surveys and participating in the Practice Health Project. Together with the entire PHP team, they are committed to our physician members’ success by providing feedback on advancements in physician performance. Most importantly, Provider Relations ensures that primary care physicians have the information, technology and support to provide the right care, at the right time, in the right place for their patients.
