Online Referral System (MCS)

Physician Health Partners (PHP) provides utilization management for our affiliated physician groups. PHP manages the authorization of referrals to specialists and prior authorization of procedures and services. Requests for authorization of medical services can be submitted online through our referral system MCS.

MCS allows our providers to submit referrals and prior authorization requests online, check status of current requests, and look up history of referrals and prior authorizations for patients. PHP receives regular eligibility updates for our assigned members from our health plan partners. This eligibility information is integrated with MCS to help correctly identify patients. MCS is a secure web-based application, and as such it does not require installation of software. Affiliated-PHP providers simply connect to the PHP secure website and log in with an assigned password.

All Physician Health Partners sites are HIPAA-compliant. Access and training are offered at no cost to participating providers.
