The Quality Care and Education Committee (QCEC) is a Physician Health Partners committee that meets monthly in order to provide guidance to our Independent Practice Association (IPA) member providers in the delivery of high quality, efficient care.

The committee currently consists of nine physicians from our adult IPAs, Primary Physician Partners and South Metro Primary Care. The purpose of the committee is to review nationally endorsed, evidence based guidelines and recommend tools and resources for adoption of guidelines that directly impact IPA initiatives. The guidelines, schedules, toolkits, and other supplementary resources are reviewed at least every two years. Starting June 2015, updated clinical guidelines will include Quality Measures and Risk Adjustment Coding and Documentation Tips (if applicable to the topic).
