PHP Named Denver Post Top Workplace for the Seventh Time
This month, Physician Health Partners (PHP), medical management company, was ranked 19th in the mid-size company category on the Denver Post Top Workplace list. This is PHP’s seventh appearance on the annual list since the program began in 2012.
The Top Workplace list is founded solely on Colorado-based PHP employee feedback gathered through a third-party independent survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC, a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools.
“We are truly honored that our employees have rated PHP as a Top Workplace for seven years,” said Kenneth Nielsen, president and chief executive officer. “At PHP, our people are our product. Their dedication to our mission and values exceeds expectations and defines the value we bring to the providers and patients we serve.”
Founded in 1996 by primary care physicians, PHP is the medical management company for the largest group of primary care physicians in the Denver metro area. PHP also manages the Health First Colorado (Colorado’s Medicaid program) contract that serves eight Colorado counties. PHP remains led by primary care providers and supports providers in improving clinical outcomes for more than 450,000 Coloradans.
“Becoming a Top Workplace isn’t something organizations can buy,” said Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage. “It’s an achievement organizations have worked for and a distinction that gives them a competitive advantage. It’s a big deal.”
